Dr. Mark
Cohen - Interventionist
Dr. Mark Cohen has served as a consultant
on addiction issues to more than one hundred work
organizations and to hundreds of individuals and families
for more than 30 years. With a doctorate and masters
degree in social work and a masters degree in public
health, Dr. Cohen has directed several drug and alcohol
treatment programs and has authored numerous articles
which have appeared in professional periodicals and
in the business section of the New York Times. He
has also authored chapters for professional textbooks
that address workplace strategies for resolving people
issues which adversely impact productivity as well
as executive dysfunction and alcohol abuse. His career
includes serving as a consultant for the United Nations
Centre for Social Development and Humanitarian Affairs,
creating and directing the Employee Assistance Program
at American Express, and serving as a partner in an
organizational consulting firm for seventeen years.
